Below we discuss some of the main exhibition venues in the UK.
Earls Court exhibition centre - This London venue is right in the centre of London and is an excellent location and very accessible by public transport. If you are staying in London then you will easily be able to use the London underground to get to this venue. The exhibition Centre itself is also a very good venue with sizeable halls and disabled access. Nearby, within walking distance, there are a number of shops and places to buy food and plenty of coffee shops.
Olympia Exhibition Centre - is located quite close to Earls Court Exhibition Centre and it is similar in terms of local facilities and accessibility within London. Earls Court and Olympia are two of the main exhibition centres in London.
Excel Exhibition Centre - is another London venue and the newest of the three. This venue is excellent in that it is out of the centre and this can make it more accessible if you are driving in from outside of London. There are ample parking facilities at the venue and the exhibition centre itself is excellent, with several large exhibition halls and plenty of catering and disabled facilities.
Birmingham NEC exhibition Centre - Further North in England, the Birmingham NEC is another excellent venue. With Birmingham International airport available for people who are travelling from abroad, the NEC is a great location with the centre very accessible by road and with the venue itself excellent. There is car parking which is patrolled by security and within walking distance of the exhibition centre, there are a couple of high quality hotels.
SECC - In Scotland there is an excellent exhibition centre in the Scottish Exhibition Conference Centre. The SECC holds a number of high quality exhibitions, events and conferences. This venue holds events such as the BBC Good Food Show, as well as rock and pop events. The Scottish Exhibition Conference Centre s within 15 minutes of Glasgow International Airport and similar to the NEC, this centre also has some high standard hotels within walking distance of the centre.
All five of the venues discussed are excellent venues and all are well established as International venues for a variety of exhibitions and events. All in cities with International airports and close enough to hotels and near or in main cities.
